I. What Does Connecting to Ctrl+Reach Mean?

The connection on Ctrl+Reach corresponds to the sharing of access and permissions between your account (Instagram, Facebook/Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and our platform.

This connection allows us to obtain the necessary rights to:

  • Access your content (posts, reels)
  • View your statistics and data (insights, performance, audiences)
  • Launch and manage advertising campaigns

Why is this connection essential?

Without these permissions, it is technically impossible to:

  • Create a campaign and run ads
  • Track performance

In summary: without a valid connection, no ads can be launched (except for YouTube).

Are you staying in control?

Yes, at any time.
The entity sharing access retains full ownership and control.
It can revoke permissions at any time directly from its Business Manager.
Ctrl+Reach only has access to the elements strictly necessary for managing advertising campaigns.

II. Ctrl+Reach Needs

Meta (Facebook + Instgram)

Before starting the connection of your Meta accounts to Ctrl+Reach, there are a few essential prerequisites to check. Don’t worry, we’ll walk you through everything step by step.

  1. Your Facebook page and your Instagram account (Professional mode) must already be linked to each other
  2. You must have a Business Manager (BM) or Business Portfolio, where you'll find:
  • your Facebook Page
  • your Instagram account

added inside it.

  1. You must have full control over this Business Manager.

⚠️ If any of these conditions are not met, the connection to Ctrl+Reach will not work. Even if you don’t plan to run ads on Facebook, you’ll still need to link your Facebook page to your Instagram account in order to launch Instagram campaigns through Ctrl+Reach.

Youtube

To run campaigns on Ctrl+Reach with YouTube, you don't need to link the artist's channel.
However, if you want to track the channel's data from our app and use the YouTube fan base audiences, you'll need to link YouTube Studio to your Google Ads account and, consequently, to your Ctrl+Reach profile.

III. Link Your Pages

⚠️ If you've already met the prerequisites, skip ahead to the “CONNECTING TO CTRL+REACH” section

Meta (Facebook + Instagram)

You can do this from your phone (via Instagram > Edit Profile), but it's easier to do this from a computer, through your Facebook page settings. Note that your Instagram account must be in Professional mode for this to work properly.

  • Go to your Facebook Page.
  • In the left-hand menu, click on "Settings".

  • In the new left-hand menu, click on "Linked Accounts".
  • Select "Instagram".

  • Follow the steps to connect your Instagram account and confirm. Once the connection is established, you should see the screen shown below:

You can choose whether or not to allow messages to appear in Meta Business Suite — this won’t block the connection.
Once this step is completed, your Facebook Page and Instagram account will be successfully linked!

PREREQUISITE 2 – Create a Business Manager

To use Ctrl+Reach (and manage your Facebook & Instagram promotions effectively), you must have a Meta Business Manager account.

If you don't have one yet, now is the time to create one ✌️

There are two ways to do this:

  • Option 1: By linking Facebook and Instagram (Professional mode) together as shown above. If one doesn't already exist on your Facebook page, Meta will automatically create a Business Manager with all your resources (Facebook Pages, Instagram account, Pixels, etc.). Please note that your Instagram account must be a Business account for this to work smoothly.
  • Option 2: Go to: business.facebook.com and create a Business Manager, then manually add the accounts (Facebook & Instagram) (this is the most time-consuming option and is not recommended). Here, too, the Instagram account must be in Professional mode. And here are the details below if you still want to go with Option 2.

Add your Facebook page to Business Manager

Even if you don't actively use Facebook, a Facebook page is a must.

  • In the left-hand menu, click on “Pages.”
  • Click on “Add” → “Add an existing Facebook page.”

  • Paste the URL of the Facebook page, then click “Next.”

  • On the next page, nothing to do, just click on “Next.”

  • Then on the last page, check the small box at the bottom.
  • Finally, click “Add Page.”

Your Facebook page has now been added to your Business Manager.

Add your Instagram account to Business Manager
  • In "Settings"
  • Click on “Instagram Accounts” in the left-hand menu
  • Click on the blue “Add” button

  • Here, make sure you comply with the Meta terms and conditions, then check the box at the bottom to accept and click on “Add Instagram account.”

  • Log in to your Instagram account to add it.

Your Instagram account is now connected to Business Manager.
You are now ready to advertise effectively and connect your accounts to Ctrl+Reach.
