I. What Does Connecting to Ctrl+Reach Mean?

The connection on Ctrl+Reach corresponds to the sharing of access and permissions between your account (Instagram, Facebook/Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and our platform.

This connection allows us to obtain the necessary rights to:

  • Access your content (posts, reels)
  • View your statistics and data (insights, performance, audiences)
  • Launch and manage advertising campaigns

Why is this connection essential?

Without these permissions, it is technically impossible to:

  • Create a campaign and run ads
  • Track performance

In summary: without a valid connection, no ads can be launched (except for YouTube).

Are you staying in control?

Yes, at any time.
The entity that shares its access retains full ownership and control.
It can revoke permissions at any time directly from its Business Manager.
Ctrl+Reach has access only to the information strictly necessary for managing advertising campaigns.

II. Ctrl+Reach Needs

Meta (Facebook + Instagram)

Before connecting a new Meta profile to Ctrl+Reach, you must have completed the onboarding process with your Account Manager.
This onboarding process consists of two essential steps:

  • Connecting the app to your Business Manager (or Business Portfolio)
  • Connecting all your Business Manager resources to Ctrl+Reach (Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, ad accounts, pixels, audiences, etc.).

Once these two steps are complete, you’ll be able to connect new Meta profiles to the app.

To allow your Account Manager to complete these steps, you’ll first need to add the following users as Administrators (Full Control) in your Business Manager: matheo@y2m.io, lotfi@y2m.io, and simon@y2m.io. Follow the tutorial here: https://doc.clickup.com/5748610/p/h/5fdw2-85872/2fa5be153720875

⚠️ If this condition is not met, the connection to Ctrl+Reach will not work.

Youtube

To run campaigns on Ctrl+Reach with YouTube, you don't need to link the artist's channel.
However, if you want to track the channel's data from our app and use the YouTube fan base audiences, you'll need to link YouTube Studio to your Google Ads account and, consequently, to your Ctrl+Reach profile.

TikTok

As with Meta, before connecting a new TikTok profile to Ctrl+Reach, you must have completed the onboarding process with your Account Manager.
This onboarding process consists of two essential steps:

  • Connecting the app to your TikTok Business Center.
  • Connecting all your TikTok Business Manager resources to the Ctrl+Reach app (TikTok account, ad account, etc.).

Here are the steps in the process that you should have completed with your Account Manager:

Add us to TikTok Business Center in two steps:

  • Accept the invitation using the login link sent by your Account Manager.

  1. If you have multiple Business Centers and the following page appears, select the one you want to use by pressing Ctrl+Reach to access that Business Center. Otherwise, skip ahead to the next step.

  1. Go to the Users tab
  2. Click on “Add member”

On the add page:

  • Between the email address we provided you: tiktok@y2m.io
  • Assign us the “Admin” role,
  • Then click “Next.”

On our end, we will immediately receive access and be able to finalize the connection.

Once you've completed these steps, you'll be able to connect new TikTok profiles to the app.

A guide is available to help you through this step. You can refer to this tutorial to set up the connection in your TikTok Business Center.

III. Link Your Pages

We recommend that you start by connecting to Meta.
By connecting your Meta resources first, your user profile will be created automatically in Ctrl+Reach. This means you won't need to create it manually before proceeding with the connection.

Meta (Facebook + Instagram)

Step 1: Sharing access - Page owner side

  • Enter the Business ID of the company requesting the connection, then click Next.

  • If the Facebook and Instagram pages are properly linked, the owner should see the following:
  • In the “Facebook Pages” section, select the relevant page and enable the following permissions: Content, Ads, Insights.
  • Finish by clicking “Assign assets”.

Access has indeed been shared with the user Ctrl+Reach.

Step 2: Add the artist on Ctrl+Reach - Ctrl+Reach user side

Once the owner has completed all the steps above, the connection is not fully finalized yet.

From your Business Manager (the company’s BM):

  • Go to Settings
  • Under the “Accounts” section, click “Pages”
  • Find the artist’s page that just shared access and click on it
  • Click “Assign people”

  • Add CtrlReach (User System)
  • Grant them the following permissions: Content, Ads, Insights
  • Click “Assign”

Wait 10 to 15 minutes, and the profile will be created on Ctrl+Reach, and the connection will be established.

TIP: You can also follow our step-by-step tutorial, which presents several connection methods depending on your situation.

Youtube

To run campaigns on Ctrl+Reach using YouTube, you don't need to link the artist's channel. However, if you want to track the channel's data from our app and use the YouTube fan base audiences, you'll need to link YouTube Studio to your Google Ads account and, consequently, to your Ctrl+Reach profile.
